ScaleSKUs MCP server

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any other MCP client to your Amazon Advertising account. Ask about campaigns, search terms, keywords, budgets, products, Search Query Performance and profit in plain language — and, when you choose to, queue or apply changes through an audited approval pipeline.

Built by ScaleSKUs (ARTALLUR TECHNOLOGIES INDIA LLP), an Amazon Ads verified partner. Questions: support@scaleskus.com.

Before you start

You need a ScaleSKUs account with your Amazon Ads account connected — start a free trial. The assistant sees only the Amazon accounts your ScaleSKUs login can see. Step-by-step setup with screenshots for each assistant: Connect your AI.

Quick start

  1. Add the connector in your assistant with the server URL https://scaleskus.com/mcp (Claude: add the ScaleSKUs plugin from Customize › Plugins, where it is listed in Claude’s plugin directory, or add a custom connector under Customize › Connectors; ChatGPT: Settings › Apps & Connectors; Amazon Quick: see below).
  2. Sign in to ScaleSKUs when the assistant sends you to our authorization page (email, Google or Amazon).
  3. Choose the organization and approve the access shown on the consent screen.
  4. Start asking. A good first question: “Give me a briefing on my Amazon Ads account.”

Amazon Quick

An Amazon Quick administrator or Enterprise author adds ScaleSKUs once for the team; each person then signs in with their own ScaleSKUs login. Quick runs in us-east-1, us-west-2, eu-west-1, eu-west-2, eu-central-1, ap-southeast-2 and ap-northeast-1.

  1. In Quick, open Connectors › Create for your team › Model Context Protocol and choose to create a new connector.
  2. Name it ScaleSKUs, set the endpoint to https://scaleskus.com/mcp on the public network, and choose user authentication. ScaleSKUs registers Quick automatically, so there is no client ID or secret to enter.
  3. Sign in to ScaleSKUs when asked and approve the access. We recommend setting the write tools to Ask each time, then publish the connector to your team.

Quick keeps the first 100 tools a server lists; ScaleSKUs lists its least-used tools last. A call that takes longer than 60 seconds shows as HTTP 424 in Quick — ask for a shorter date range. When we add tools, run Sync on the connector to pick them up (new tools arrive switched off).

What you can ask

  • “Which campaigns wasted the most spend last month, and why?”
  • “Show search terms that convert but aren't targeted yet.”
  • “Which campaigns ran out of budget this week and what did it cost me?”
  • “Compare this week's ACoS and TACoS with last week, by ad type.”
  • “Where is my share of voice slipping in Search Query Performance?”
  • “What was my profit per ASIN last month after fees and ad spend?”
  • “Queue a 10% bid cut on keywords above 60% ACoS for my approval.”

TransportStreamable HTTP (JSON-RPC 2.0)
AuthorizationOAuth 2.1 — authorization code with PKCE (S256); a client ID metadata document (an https URL as the client_id) for public clients, or dynamic client registration for public clients and for confidential ones (client_secret_basic / client_secret_post); the issuer is named in every authorization response (RFC 9207)

Scopesmcp:read — read your accounts' data.
mcp:actions — queue or apply changes (see below); an app we haven't verified must be granted this scope explicitly on the consent screen.
TokensAccess tokens last 365 days and refresh tokens 730 days, so you don't have to reconnect every session. Revoke any time (below).

Changes and safety

Most tools only read. 22 write tools change your Amazon Ads account — bids, budgets, negatives, placements, new campaigns and keywords, automation rules, day-parting — and never call Amazon directly: every change goes through ScaleSKUs' tasks pipeline and is recorded in your account's audit log. 5 more change only what ScaleSKUs stores for you: team memory notes, product costs and tasks for your team.

  • Queued for approval by default. A change is saved as a pending task you approve in ScaleSKUs; nothing changes on Amazon until then.
  • Applying directly is opt-in. The assistant can apply a change immediately only when you ask it to and your login has two-factor verification (a verified phone). Without it, the change is queued instead.
  • Limits. At most 200 applied changes per Amazon account per day; anything beyond is queued for approval.
  • Your accounts only. Every call is checked against the accounts your login can access.

Data and privacy

The server answers from the Amazon Ads and Amazon Seller/Vendor Central data your ScaleSKUs account already syncs. What the assistant asks for is sent to it to answer you; ScaleSKUs does not sell your data or use it to train AI models. The assistant saves a note to your team memory only when you ask it to (or agree when it offers), and you can remove notes at any time. A large export goes to a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive, only when you ask for one and have connected your Google account in ScaleSKUs. Read the privacy policy and terms.

Troubleshooting

  • The assistant shows no ScaleSKUs tools. The connector needs an active ScaleSKUs plan with AI access; check Billing in ScaleSKUs, then reconnect.
  • No write tools. Changes are part of the Analysis + Actions plan; on other plans the assistant can read and recommend, and queue nothing.
  • “Session expired” or repeated sign-in. Remove the connector in your assistant and add it again, or revoke it on the Connect AI page first.
  • Numbers look partial. Ask “Is my data up to date?” — a newly connected account takes a few hours to sync, and Amazon's retail reports arrive 2–3 days behind ads data.
  • A change didn't happen on Amazon. It is probably waiting for approval: open Tasks in ScaleSKUs, or ask the assistant for your pending tasks.

Security

Tokens are scoped to the organization you chose on the consent screen and to the Amazon accounts your login can see; every tool call is logged. To report a vulnerability, write to support@scaleskus.com with “Security report” in the subject (security.txt).

Manage or disconnect

See every connected assistant and revoke access on the Connect AI page in ScaleSKUs, or remove the connector in your assistant's settings.

Tools (107)

77 tools only read; the 30 marked “changes data” create or change something. Write tools appear only when write actions are enabled for your organization. Tools marked “full access” aren't offered to the client-safe access tokens you can create on the Connect AI page; assistants that connect by signing in get them.
